Need assistance in building your scarecrow?

The Solvang Chamber, in partnership with Hidden Wings and Solvang Parks & Rec, is inviting everyone to participate in a free two-day event to build scarecrows for the upcoming SYV Scarecrow Festival. The event will be held at Solvang Veterans Hall and offers an opportunity for anyone to participate. So, if you want to get creative and contribute artistic whimsy to Solvang in the month of October, join the Solvang Chamber at the event and have a fun-filled day building exciting scarecrows.

All materials to build and create a scarecrow are provided. However, you are welcome to bring any items such as hats, sun glasses, fancy buttons, clothes, or outfits, which will add your special touch to your scarecrow.

We will provide water, soda, chips, and candy. You provide your lunch, creative genius, and readiness to have fun.
